Recent projects:
- Concieved of by two Harvard and Brown undergraduates, UniToons serves up comics created by college cartoonists. It features automatic calendaring of uploaded cartoons, e-cards, and a code module which anyone can download to display comics from UniToons on their own website. (screenshots)
- The Glue Grant's Trauma-Related Database at Massachussetts General Hospital combines clinical trial LIMS data, proteomics results, and microarray sample information. This tool is currently available only to a limited number of researchers, but will soon be made available to the general public through www.gluegrant.org, allowing researchers and statisticians worldwide to analyze the results of various NIH-funded studies on the body's response to inflammation and physical trauma. - Cornell's Travel Management project provides a user-friendly way for faculty, staff, and students to record expenses incurred while traveling for the University, calculate per-diem compensation, and request/approve reimbursements. As Project Lead over 2-3 developers, I was responsible for refining user requirements, generating use cases and mockups, envisioning and overseeing the technical implementation, and participating in application development.
